Children's
At St. Paul's, we offer a variety of opportunities for children to be involved including Sunday School, preschool, VBS, many special events, and our weekly worship.
Youth
St. Paul's offers a variety of places for youth to connect. For the 6th-8th grade students there is Confirmation and various fun activities. For High School students we will soon offering small groups, service projects, and fun activities in the community. Adults
For the adults of St. Paul's we have an abundance of opportunities to connect, study the Bible, and serve. These include Sunday School, mid-week bible studies, ladies' guild, choir, and various service projects. For more info on our adult ministries check out the calendar page or contact the church.
Worship and Music
This branch of our ministry seeks to connect people to God through meaningful worship. Along with planning the music and services, the worship and music committee is also responsible for recruiting members to serve as ushers, greeters, communion assistants, communion families, lay assistants, lay readers, sacristy servers, and acolytes. Outreach and Benevolence
St. Paul's Outreach and Benevolence Ministries seek to demonstrate the love of God in Christ Jesus in Sarver, Pittsburgh, and the world in various ways including TryLife, Kids Against Hunger, Water Missions, the Christian Leadership Network, NALC ministries, Living in Liberty, and the Cabot Food Bank. Evangelism
Evangelism ministries at St. Paul's seeks to connect the unconnected to Jesus Christ through hospitality, visitor followup, membership classes, evangelism training, and coordinating with Outreach Ministries to reach the community.
Social
Besides keeping St. Paul's well fed, our Fellowship Ministry is responsible for congregational activities throughout the year such as our pig roast, Seder Meal, graduation celebration, concerts etc.
Property
This ministry works behind the scenes to ensure that our facilities & grounds are presentable, safe, and ready for action. Help is always need in this important ministry!
Council
St. Paul's Lutheran Church Council is made up of the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Committee Chairpersons. Elected by the congregation the St. Paul's Church Council and Pastor meet once a month to discuss regular church business, financial items, and committee reports.
